摘 要:该文对榆属树种的遗传育种研究进展进行了较为系统的综述 ,主要包括 :国内外榆树育种材料资源的保存和利用现状 ;国内外榆树改良和育种目标 ;选择、杂交及其它非常规育种手段在榆树改良项目中的应用 .文中还对中国榆树育种工作中存在的问题以及改进途径进行了讨论 .China is one of the countries with the most species and the largest distribution area of elm. Key researches around genetic improvement of elm have been organized and carried out during the Sixth to Eighth Five Year Plan periods(1985~1995). Genetics and breeding of elm, especially the anti\|disease breeding and the genetic basis studies have been paid much attention in many foreign countries.The paper made an attempt in summarizing the progress on genetics and breeding of elm species.The targets for elm improvement and breeding, situation of conservation and utilization of elm germplasm resources, selection, hybridization and other breeding measures applied in elm improvement programs in foreign countries,and the present situation of elm genetics and breeding in China were all included. Discussions were set off around principal problems in elm breeding and the future developing aims of China.
