摘　　要：代谢组学是后基因组时代新近发展起来的一门科学,目前已成为中药物质基础研究的重要组成部分。代谢组学是中药物质基础研究的重要技术平台之一,能准确反映整体的代谢物图谱直接认识生命体的生理和生化状态。在中药现代化研究中,代谢组学方法和技术的应用具有广阔的发展前景,尤其是在药物毒理学研究、疾病诊断、中药和植物,包括天然药物等方面具有重要理论意义和应用价值。代谢组学将为中药物质基础研究拓展思路。Metabonomics, a newly developed branch of genomics, has been becoming an important compo- nent in researching the material foundation for the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine. Metabonomics is one of the important platforms in this research field. It can be directly applied to wholly understand the physiologi- cal and biochemical states by its ＂ metabolome profile＂. Especially, it is of important theoretical significance and application value in studies of toxicology, diagnosis, traditional Chinese medicine and plants including natural med- icines. Metabonomics will extend research ideas on material basis of the traditional Chinese medicine compounds
