论历史唯物主义的两种“历史”概念与意蕴

摘　　要：广义与狭义历史唯物主义之二分法,与其说是由于研究对象的广义与狭义之分所造成的,不如说反映了马克思在创立与发展历史唯物主义过程中的两种叙述方法。广义历史唯物主义是一种通俗或大众化的理论叙述方法,而狭义的历史唯物主义则是一种严格的而富有创造性的理论叙述方法。广义历史唯物主义的传统理解误区在于庸俗肢解和封闭僵化,西方马克思主义对狭义历史唯物主义的理解误区则在于看不到马克思历史辩证法的核心意义而各执一端。广义历史唯物主义是马克思主义哲学得以当代言说的合法性底限,应当保留其可能性视角与开放性视野;狭义历史唯物主义是具有特定叙述边界的、作为辩证认识论的历史性唯物主义,需要经过严格追问并赋之以严格形式,从而形成一种新的严格的批判维度。惟有如此,历史唯物主义才能合乎时代要求而始终具有旺盛的理论生命。The dichotomy of general historical materialism and special one is not only because of the dichotomy of the general and the special of the research object but also because of its reflecting on Marx＇ s two types of narrative ways in the creation and development of historical materialism. General historical materialism is a kind of popular narrative way, while special historical materialism is a strict and creative one. The traditional misunderstanding about general historical materialism is vulgar disemeberment and closed rigidity. Western Marxism do not share the same viewpoint of spe- cial historical materialism , leading to their misunderstanding that they do not understand the core meaning of Marx＇ s historical dialectics. Actually, general historical materialism is the legitimacy base of Marxist philosophy in modern discourse, so its possible perspectives and open visions should be conserved ; special historical materialism is the materialism of historic significance which is a kind of dialectical epistemology and has special narrative boundary. It needs to give a strict inquiry and a strict pattern so as to form a kind of new strict critical dimension. Only in this way, historical materi- alism can conform to the requirements of the times and have strong theoretical life all along.
