摘　　要：梳理库柏、威廉·吉尔、贝得禄、伊莎贝拉·伯德、立德、叶长青、福格森、约翰·布鲁克、贝尔立和赫伯特·斯蒂文斯等十名英国皇家地理学会会员在近代康区游历考察活动的基本史实,对照国内相关史料,分析评述其考察活动的主要成果、著述和影响。Based on various historical records, especially on traveling and investigation records of members of the Royal Geographical Society in Khams, the paper intends to make a study on the basic historical records of traveling and investigation done by ten members of the Royal Geographical Society in Modern Khams, who are Thomas Thornville Cooper, William John Gill, Edward Colborne Baber, Isabella Lucy Bird, Archibald John Little, James Huston Edgar, W. W. Fergusson, J. W. Brooke, F. M. Bailey and Herbert Stevens. It also tries to analyze their main achievements, writings and influence.
