摘　　要：过去,电信曾经是远古人类仰望星空的幽幽梦想;现在,电信实现了独占通信市场的辉煌,已融入人类生活与生存的最基础层面,并将人类带入到信息社会时代;未来,电信技术将向更高的层次演进,电信业务将向更广的领域扩展,由此将导致电信的色彩越来越淡,进入到"似"电信而又"非"电信的后电信时代。电信变革为后发国家提供了超越的机会。只要有心而为、勇于创新,便不难提升我国在电信事业中的地位与影响,实现电信强国梦。This paper introduces the growth processes of telecommunication from dreaming, groping and growing to surpassing. In the past, telecommunication had been a distant dream of the ancients when they looked up at the firmament. However, telecommunication has realized a glory of monopolizing the communication markets, which is integrated into humans＇ life in the most basic level and humans＇ life has been brought into an information socie-ty at present. In the future, the telecommunication business will extend to a broader area as the technology evolve to a higher level, by that moment the telecommunication＇ s color will be toned down and the society will enter a post-telecommunication era which is ＂like＂ but ＂not＂ telecommunication. Telecommunication reform provides a number of opportunities for backward countries to catch up. And as long as we are determined to make arduous efforts in innovation, it is not hard to raise the status and influence of our country in the telecommunication world, and the dream for us to become a powerful country in telecommunication will be realized in the end.
