图书馆常用数据库的本质及其评价方法探讨

摘　　要：通过分析常用数据库的内涵和本质,通过对国外一流医学院校图书馆划定的常用数据库和共同购买的数据库的统计和分析,讨论了医学常用数据库与各院校共同购买数据库之间的关联性,指出学科相同或相近的核心信息机构和高层次用户群的共同信息行为是常用数据库存在的基础和评价的依据。The commonly used databases are E-resources provided for users who have same or similar requirements for information. In this paper, by analyzing the commonly used E-resources and the databases commonly purchased by the libraries of foreign first-level medical colleges and universities, we demonstra- ted the correlations between these two types of databases. Moreover, we suggested that the information seeking behaviors, which are shared by core information institutions and high-level user communities in the same or similar disciplines, should be taken both into account when constructing databases and also as an important indicator for evaluating it.
