摘　　要：美国之音在应对1956年匈牙利事件中做了大量工作,但事后美国决策层却认为其对该事件的报道具有过于浓厚的宣传腔调,并迫使它在播音内容、腔调和机构设置等方面进行整改。不过,在"宣传预设"的前提下,这种追求"客观性"报道的改革最终不了了之,美国之音仍积极地为帮助美国赢得文化冷战而努力。During the Hungarian Incident, the Voice of America has done a lot of works, however, the U. S. decision - makers thought the broadcasts have too much propaganda tune. Because of this, after this crisis, they asked the Voice of Ameri- ca to do some reform, especially to its ＂software＂ and ＂hardware＂. Following this order, the Voice of America made some changes, however, under the ＂premise of propaganda＂, the reform which pursuit of objective reporting eventually failed, it still worked hard to help the U. S. to win the culture cold war.
