摘　　要：19世纪是英国"女性创作的丰收季节",20世纪是英国女性作家创作的繁荣时代。两个世纪的女性作家都在关注一个共同的主题——女性如何冲破世俗偏见的束缚,努力追寻自由、平等和独立。本文着力探讨19世纪与20世纪的英国女性作家在创作背景、主题思想以及表现手法方面如何演绎女人自己的故事。The 19th Century is considered the ＂harvest season of female writing＂ in Britain, and the 20th Century is considered an era of prosperity of British women writers＇ creation. The women writers in the above two different periods were concerned about women＇ s striving to pursue freedom, equality and independence by breaking the fetters of worldly prejudice. This paper focuses on how British women writers interpreted women＇ s own stories in the 19th Century and 20th Century from the background of creation, the thematic ideas and the writing techniques.
