摘　　要：新经济地理学经历了二十余年的发展已声名鹊起。它以非连续性和非单调性过程解释区域经济发展差异,试图揭开区域经济非均衡发展的谜底。通过认真反思新经济地理学的发展,文章认为应结合中国现实,进一步拓展理论的解释范围、优化经验研究的解释能力,以提出解决经济发展问题的新思路,为中国特色的经济发展做出应有的贡献。Although new economic geography （NEG） only has experienced a development history of near twenty years, NEG has risen to fame. NEG uses discontinuous and non-monotonic processes to explain the differences in regional economic development, and tries to uncover the mystery of unbalanced development of regional economy. Through serious introspection for the development of NEG, it is necessary for us to further expand the explanation scope of NEG and optimize the explanation capability of empirical analysis based on the reality in China to provide new ideas for the solution to the issues of economic development and make due contributions to economic development with Chinese characteristics.
