摘　　要：北京钢铁学院是新中国早期成立的单科性工业学院的典型代表。自1952年到1966年,北京钢铁学院在物质文化建设方面取得显著成果并形成鲜明特色。文章从地理与规划、建筑与树木、图书与设备、教材与刊物四个方面总结了这一时期学校物质文化建设的成果。这一时期的学校物质文化建设,在建筑风格上呈现出鲜明的苏式风格,在校园绿化上呈现出鲜明的中国传统,在图书设备上呈现出鲜明的学科特色。Beijing Institute of Iron and Steel Technology is a typical representative of the single industrial institutes at the initial stage of new China. From 1952 to 1966, Beijing Institute of Iron and Steel Technology in material culture construction has made remarkable achievements and formed its own characteristics. This paper summarizes its material culture construction achievements from four aspects of geography and planning, construction and trees, books and equipments, teaching materials and publications. During this period, its architecture was distinctive in a Soviet style, its campus afforestation in Chinese tradition, its book equipment in subject characteristics.
