摘 要:第三方物流(3PL)是物流发展到一定阶段后,为满足货主企业对一体化物流服务需求而出现的一种新型物流服务运作形态,20世纪80年代中期在美国出现,20世纪90年代后期我国开始出现这个概念。但时至今日,我国在对第三方物流概念的理解和认识上仍然存在着模糊和混乱的现象,影响着我们对第三方物流本质的把握,也会造成物流数据(如物流市场规模)统计口径不一致的问题。鉴于此,本文对第三方物流概念的本质进行深入分析,认为必须站在一体化物流服务的角度去认识第三方物流,并在术语使用上加以规范。在社会上对"第三方物流"一词已经有了习惯性用法并很难纠正的情况下,需借用一体化物流、系统化物流概念去把握本来意义上的"3PL",对物流术语标准中"3PL"对应的中文词汇作出适当调整。The third-party logistics (3PL) is a new type of logistics service operation pattern that is used to meet the demand of cargo owner enterprises in terms of integrated logistics service. The emergence of this concept in the United States was in the middle of 1980s; and that in China was in the late 1990s. But today, the understanding of this concept is still very vague, which will have negative impact on our understanding of the essence of logistics and will lead to the problem of inconsistent statistic standard of logistic data, such as logistic market size. In view of this, the author carries on a profound analysis on the essence of 3PL. It is found that we should understand 3PL from the angle of integrated logistic service and standardize the use of related terms. Though it is very difficult for us to correct the prevailing way of use of 3PL, we should revise the term 3PL with the help of integrated and systematic logistics.
