摘　　要：英国第一代新左派从一开始就以前所未有的热情,把目光聚焦于文化之上,强调文化研究在其理论体系中的核心地位。自威廉斯开始,第一代新左派知识分子纷纷对文化问题发表观点,并展开了漫长而激烈的论战。本文的目的是以围绕文化问题而展开的学术论战为支点来考察新左派运动,聚焦其理论拐点,从更近的距离感知英国第一代新左派的学术沿革和理论方法。The British new left focused on the culture with enormous enthusiasm since its birth. It emphasized the importance of cultural study in its theoretical system. Since Raymond Williams, the new left theorists began to publish their opinions of culture in succession, and produced in a long and fierce controversy. The aim of this paper is to review the new left movement that based on the controversy of culture and to focus on the theoretical milestone, and perceives the first generation of British new left intellectuals＇ academic evolution and theoretical methods.
