Objective: to investigate changes and the between-group differences in the cardiovascular function indicators of adults with different physical fitness levels. Method: choosing 40 -49 years old male adults for the study. The subjects first took standardized a physical fitness test, and then were grouped in accordance with the National Physical Fitness Evaluation Standards for Adults. Echocardiography was used to measure the cardiovascular function indicators of subjects who had different physical fitness levels. Results: A statistically significant difference was found in such cardiac morphology indicators as the LVEDD. Also a significant difference existed in cardiovascular function between the two groups, especially in such indicators as blood pressure (BP), stroke volume index (SVI), heart rate (HR), and left ventricular ejection time (LVET). There was also a significant difference in the changes of cardiac function indicators for adults with different physical fitness levels in incrementalload exercise, with subjects with poor physical fitness levels showing a faster rise in heart rate, blood pressure and other indicators, and a higher top number.
