Hyperhidrosis means excessive sweating beyond the need of thermoregulation and environmen- tal factor. Depending on whether primary disease exists hyperhidrosis could be divided into primary hyper- hidrosis and secondary hyperhidrosis, which also could be divided into systemic hyperhidrosis and focal hyperhidrosis according to the parts of sweating hyperhidrosis. Primary focal hyperhidrosis is common among children and its clinical manifestations include unexplainable excessive sweating in armpits, palms, soles, faces and other areas. Most children are shy of interacting with their companions for excessive sweating, affecting the normal life and study. At present, the treatment for hyperhidrosis mostly focuses on traditional Chinese medicine in China, whereas there are many other western medicine treatments such as anticholinergic drug, antiperspirant, botulinus toxin, surgery, etc.
