摘　　要：保存机构如何为数量庞大的数字视频资源选择合适的目标格式是数字信息长期保存过程中亟待解决的一个重要问题。MXF作为交换格式在数字电影界广泛应用,近年来,受到保存机构的关注,关于将其作为长期保存格式的研究越来越多。文章重点论述了MXF格式作为长期保存的目标格式的特点、优势、不足等,以期为保存机构选择数字视频资源的保存格式提供参考。It is an important unresolved problem during the digital information long-term preservation that how archival institutions choose right target formats for lots of digital videos. As an interchange format, MXF has being widely used in the industry of digital movie, and been paid much attention to by archival institutions in recent years. So, more and more researches take MXF as a target format for long-term preservation. In this paper, the author mainly discusses the characteristics, advantages, disadvantages of MXF and so on which are expected to be a reference for archival institutions on choosing target format for digital video preservation.
