摘  要:美国女作家诺拉·沃恩的《寄庐》,作为自晚清以来西方人的中国叙述文本中具有独特风格的一种尝试,因着叙述者富于传奇的复杂身份、起于华北而贯穿南北的空间视野、深入中国大家族内部极为私密的个人情感与关系领域以及女性细腻敏感的日常生活体验等,而超越了同时代不少西方人的中国叙事试验,成为一部兼具个人风格和时代特色的文学文本。The House of Exile, written by Nora Wain, was once challenged by Yao Ke and Lu Xun in the 1930s due to its Chi- nese narration from the western perspective. As a matter of fact, The House of Exile has become a literary text with its own per- sonal style and striking characteristics of the time due to its Chinese narration without losing its western identity since the late Qing Dynasty. As a new attempt, the novel also features in the following aspects, namely, the narrator's legendary status, the narrating space from Northern China throughout the Northern and Southern regions of China, the interpersonal relationship and inner feelings in daily life revealed from a woman's viewpoint, which surpasses her contemporaries in Chinese narration.
