摘　　要：2013年4月20日,四川省雅安市芦山县发生里氏7.0级地震,《地球科学与环境学报》意识到自己的社会责任,积极参与到这一突发事件的组稿实践中。通过精确选定组稿对象、真诚与专家沟通、严把审稿关以及加快论文的出版和传播等编辑策略,在2013年第2期(6月)成功发表3篇高质量论文,收到了很好的社会效果。In April 20, 2013, a strong earthquake measured Ms 7.0 hit Lushan county, Ya＇an city, Sichuan province. Realizing the social responsibility of sci-tech journals, Journal of Earth Sciences and Environment （JESE） organized actively to solicit contributions on the event. Through accurately finding and contacting target authors, strictly controlling the peer review process and speeding up publication and propagation, three high-quality papers have been published in JESE （2013, June, Issue 2）.
