摘　　要：介绍现代有轨电车的起源、概念及分类,以便厘清思路。从我国大城市构建多层次综合交通体系的角度分析现代有轨电车的技术与经济特性,通过国外现代有轨电车的应用分析其功能定位,为北京发展现代有轨电车提供借鉴,并通过具体案例分析现代有轨电车在北京的适用性。The paper clarifies the origin, concept and classification of modem trams. It analyses the technical and economic characteristics of the modem tram from the aspect of integrated multi-level transport systems built in Chinese cities. By analyzing the functions of modem trams in foreign cities, this paper provides guidance for the application of modem trams in Beijing. Practical cases are cited to study the applicability of modem trams in Beijing.
