摘　　要：回顾了高分子材料的发展史,介绍了塑料在农业、建筑、汽车、医用和食品包装领域中的应用,强调了塑料在人类文明社会发展中的地位与作用,并展望了未来塑料材料的发展趋势。The history of the development of polymer materials is described. And the application of plastics in agriculture, construction, automotive, medical and food packaging are introduced. The position and effect of plastics on the civilization of human society are emphasized. The future developing trends of plastic materials have also been discussed.
