摘　　要：L2TPv3(第二层隧道协议第3版)规范RFC 3931中提到了协议实现时需要考虑IP分片的问题,但是并没有给出具体的解决方案。文章在已有的PMTUD(路径最大传输单元发现)解决方案的基础上,综合了几种方案的优点,给出了适合于L2TPv3的具体解决方案。该方案考虑了现有网络中存在新旧两种格式的ICMP(因特网控制信息协议)消息的情况,增强了适用性。The L2TPv3 protocol specification RFC 3931 refers to the necessity of considering IP fragmentation in the protocol implementation, but fails to give a specific solution. On the basis of the existing solutions to Path Maximum Transmission U- nit Discovery （PMTUD） and the advantages of several solutions, it proposes a specific solution suitable for L2TPv3, which takes into consideration the existence of both old and new formats of Internet Control Message Protocol （ICMP） messages in the existing networks, thus enhancing its applicability.
