摘　　要：莫里斯·迈斯纳是国际著名的毛泽东研究专家,著述颇丰,观点独特。将1994年作者对他的采访记录与2007年他出版的之作《毛泽东:一个政治和知识的肖像》联系起来,既反映了20年前迈斯纳对西方毛泽东研究状况的看法,也介绍了迈斯纳对毛泽东思想特点的分析和结论,展示了迈斯纳在毛泽东研究问题上严肃且持之以恒的态度。Maurice Meisner is an international famous expert, who has a lot of important writings and unique views. This article dis- cusses it based on the interview record by the author in 1994 and the mark works in 2007 he published,that is＂Mao Zedong,who is the portrait of the political and intellectual＂. It reflects the view by Meisner about Mao Zedong research in western countries 20 years ago. In addition, it also introduces analysis of Mao Zedong thought characteristic and conclusion, which shows the serious attitude and persist- ence of Meisner in research of Mao Zedong.
