摘　　要：选择若干有代表性的作者的著述,对20世纪以来学者对地中海史研究的状况作了评述。文章不仅阐述了罗斯托夫采夫、皮雷纳、戈伊坦和布罗代尔等人在该领域研究中作出的杰出贡献,分析了其学说中的不足之处;而且对近年来历史学家研究运用历史生态学、文化人类学和全球史等不同的方法研究地中海史的情况作了介绍。此外,还对该领域研究的进一步深入发展提出建议和设想,指出以全球的眼光和多重视角来考察地中海区域历史发展的进程,思考其诸文明的共性和差异以及它们之间的相互关系,并探讨地中海文明与其他文明之间的交往与联系,是一项艰巨的任务。Selecting some works of representative authors, this paper comments on the study of the history of the Mediterra- nean since the 20th century. This paper not only elaborates the outstanding contributions of Rostovzeff, Pirenne, Goitein and Braudel and in this research area and analyses the deficiencies of their theories, but also introduces the historians＂ research of the his- tory of the Mediterranean with different research methods like historical ecology, cultural anthropology , global history and so on. In addition, the author also puts forward suggestions and preassumptions on the further development of this research area, point- ing out that global vision and multiple angles are the key factors to the study on the process of historical development of the Mediterranean region, reflecting on commonalities and differences between civilizations, as well as the relationship, and the author explores the communications and contacts with other civilizations, which is a difficult task.
