摘　　要：橱口一叶是日本明治初期的女作家，二十四年的短暂人生中，以明治初期社会现实为背景，创作了大量反映当时社会现状、关注女性生活命运的优秀作品。但遗憾的是，这位英年早逝的女作家生前一直没有获得相应的文学地位，即便是一百多年后的今天，在日本文学界，关于她的文学定位问题的讨论仍旧存在着分歧。本文以明治初期日本妇女生活状况和妇女解放运动为视角，结合橱口一叶特殊的家庭背景，来考证她是如何步入文坛，又如何走向成熟并形成自己鲜明个性的过程，以期对她的创作动机、文学性格和定位做出相应的评价。Higutiitiyo, a woman writer at the beginning of Japan＇ s the Meiji era, created a lot of excellent works in her short 24 years＇ life. Her works gave a most vivid picture of the social reality of her time and much of her concern was put on women＇ s fate. But it＇ s a pity that she passed away when she was young and that she didn＇t get the fame that she deserved. Even today, more than a hundred years later, people in the field of literature still hold different opinions on her status in Japanese literature. This article aims at exploring how Higutiitiyo stepped into literary creation, how she became mature and established her own writing styles by combining women＇ s life at the beginning of the Meiji em and women＇ s liberation movement with Higutiitiyo＇ s special family background so as to evaluate her writing motivation, literary character and status.
