摘　　要：In the decades since the great rural-to- urban migration began in the 1980s, the children of the first migrants frequentlychoose to remain in the cities where they were born and raised. They have no desire to return to their parents＇ hometowns or to follow in the footsteps of theirgrandparents and become farmers. Never having been tausht how, these ＂second-seneration misrant workers＂ are in- stead desperate to intestate into city life.In the decades since the great rural-tourban migration began in the 1980s,the children of the first migrants frequently choose to remain in the cities where they were born and raised.They have no desire to return to their parents’hometowns or to follow in the footsteps of their grandparents and become farmers.Never having been taught how,these"second-generation migrant workers"are instead desperate to integrate into city life.
