摘　　要：信息科学和技术的发展,在计算机及其网络空间中,催生出一个新的"第三世界"。这个"世界"可以感知客观世界的运动和变化,并以"数字"进行记录和描述,经过加工处理,带有这些"数字"的"第三世界",能以一定方式,在一定程度和范围,智能地控制客观世界。这个"世界"将改变人类生存方式和发展进程。未来医院信息化的建设,就是要在医院的计算机及其网络空间中,建立功能齐备、结构合理的专属"第三世界",使其中运动的"数字"成为医院运行中的基础支撑要素,并革命性地促进医院建设和发展。There will be a new ＂third world＂ with the development of informational science and technology, which would be beyond the existed ＂material＂ world and ＂spirit＂ world. This new world exists among the space, set up by computer and network, and this ＂world＂ can perceive movenaents and changes of the objective world, controlling the objective world intelligently to a certain degree and scope. Therefore, This ＂world＂ will change the progress of human development, due to the model of infonnationization in the future. Based on that fact, the informatization construction of hospital is the establishment of the exclusive ＂third world＂ which has the characteristics of complete function and reasonable structure between the computer related to the hospital affairs and the the computer-generated cyberspace. Tile ＂digital＂ will become the basic element to support hospital working and optimize the hospital construction and development with this revolutionary.
