摘　　要：本文介绍了澳大利亚知名建筑事务所JPW公司设计的招商银行苏州分行大厦的设计特点,设计师通过立面体块上坚实与通透的结合在强调永久和实力的同时,也加强了公众参与的重要性。平面的功能空间与立面造型紧密结合,内外渗透,塔楼西侧设计的双层可呼吸式幕墙系统在降低能耗的同时加宽了双层幕墙之间的距离,形成一个可供员工休憩的温室花园,温室花园内连接上下层的楼梯将鼓励各楼层各部门员工间的交流,鼓励有助健康的步行交通方式,同时可减小人们对核心筒电梯的依赖,进一步加强温室花园的共享性。This article introduces the features of China Merchants Bank＇s Suzhou Branch Building, designed by the well-known Australian architectural firm, Johnson Pilton Walker Pty Ltd. Through the solid and transparent facade, the design team intends to emphasize permanence and strength as well as the importance of public engagement. ＂Ihe plan functions are closely integrated with facade design, establishing connections between the interior and exterior space. Meanwhile, the double-layer respiration curtain wall of the west side of the tower which reduces energy consumption has also widened the distance between the two wall layers to form a conservatory garden for staff to get rest. The stairs inside the garden connect different floors, thus encouraging staff from different departments to communicate with each other and a chance for a healthy walking activity. Moreover, this detailed design helps reduce people＇s dependence on building lifts and facilitate the sharing function of the conservatory garden.
