摘　　要：被称为"主流媒体范本"的美国大报《纽约时报》在乌克兰发生"橙色革命"的过程中的相关报道,值得作为样本加以研究。采用西方新闻学研究中常用的框架分析法,从表层框架与深层框架两个维度入手,梳理该报对于"橙色革命"相关议题关注程度及态度评价的嬗变过程,并着重分析该报在建构政治领导人、乌克兰及其利益攸关国的形象问题上所使用的手法与报道框架,从而加深对美国媒体国际新闻报道的运作规律的认识,挖掘其在"柔性"干预别国内政中所使用的手段与策略。In this article, related reports and news during the 'Orange Revolution' in Ukraine issued on New York Times, a major newspaper known as the 'mainstream media template' of the U.S., are selected as samples. Framework analysis, which is usually used in Western journalism studies, is employed. To be more specific, this article reviews the evolution of focus and attitudes of this newspaper on related topics of 'Orange Revolution' from bothsurface framework and deep framework, mainly focusing on its methods and framework in constructing images of its political leaders, Ukraine and related stakeholders. This article aims at deepening understanding on American media's rules in reporting international issues, exploring its means and strategies in 'flexible' interference in other countries' domestic affairs.
