摘　　要：西部地区是中国最近及未来若干年水利水电开发的重点区域,作为少数民族的聚居区,全国绝大多数的少数民族人口分布于此。因为水电开发项目建设会占用土地、房屋等生产生活资料,大量的少数民族居民需要搬迁安置,在搬迁安置过程中会面临着各种问题,陷入"弱势"境遇之中,急需采取各种方法予以应对。民族社会工作就是一项有效的专业方法,它的工作方法诊断出了弱势移民群体面临着经济、政治、文化心理、社会等层面的问题,它的基本理念赋予了民族地区弱势移民群体帮扶工作以对象、价值理念、专业目标优势,它的个体、群体、结构制度理论都蕴含着干预弱势移民问题的有效策略。The western region of China is the key area that water resources and hydropower will be development in recent years. As a minority inhabit district, the vast majority of the population of the national minorities live in the region. Because of the construction of engineering project, lots of production and living materials have been occupied, such as land and houses. Many minorities＇ residents need to be resettlement. However, in the process of resettlement, many migrates will face with a variety of problems, even fall into the ＂weak＂ situation. We need to take some measures to deal with the problems. National social work is an effective professional method. Its professional work methods can help us diagnose the vulnerable groups of involuntary resettlement facing with economic, political, cultural, social and psychological problems. The basic ideas endow superior work object consciousness, value consciousness and professional goal consciousness to the work on the assistance of vulnerable groups. Its individual, group and structure systems contain much effective strategies that the can intervene in the vulnerable group of involuntary resettlement.
