摘　　要：《申报》是旧中国时间跨度最长、影响力最大的一份报纸,但是人们大多只关注它的新闻价值和历史价值,其刊登的文学作品很少有人研究。本文通过对早期《申报》(1872年-1919年)报载短篇小说的题材、表现形式、篇幅等叙事艺术进行归纳、整理,为其他同行全面研究早期《申报》报载短篇小说提供研究依据。The ＂Shen Jiang Daily＂ is the longest time span in old China,the most influential newspaper,but most people only pay attention to its news value and historical value,the published literature few research.This article through to the early ＂ Shen Jiang Daily＂（1872-1919） journal of short story theme,form,space,etc were summarized in the narrative art,arrange,for the others early comprehensive study ＂Shen Jiang Daily＂ newspapers provide study on short stories.
