摘　　要：张培刚先生是国际学术界公认的经济学大师,他的研究主要集中在发展经济学领域。其主要贡献在于:引领发展经济学的研究方向,创立发展经济学的主题理论,探索发展中大国的经济发展道路。他对农业国工业化理论的系统研究,使他成为发展经济学的奠基人之一;他对发展中大国经济发展问题的初步探索,使他成为大国经济发展理论的开创者之一。张培刚先生以其学术成就,为发展经济学的创立和发展作出了重要贡献,同时给当代中国经济学的繁荣和发展以有益的启迪。Mr. Zhang Peigang is a well- known master in economics in the international academic circle. His researches focus on development economics. His main contribution lies in： leading the orientation of the researches on development eco- nomics, setting up the theme theories of it, and exploring the economic development route for the large developing economies. His systematic study on the theory of industrialization in agricultural countries makes him become one of the founders of development economics. His initial exploration on the problems in the economic development of large developing economies makes him become one of the pathfinders of the theory of economic development in large economies. Mr. Zhang Peigang＇ s academic achievements not only make great contribution to the establishment and development of development economics but also give useful implication for the prosperity and development of economics in China today.
