摘 要:轻薄、可弯折的柔性液晶显示器是液晶显示发展的一个热门方向.然而,传统液晶摩擦取向技术由于存在高温固化环节,无法适用于温度耐受性有限的柔性塑料基板.现提出一种可全程在常温下完成的液晶光取向技术,阐述了光取向材料合成方法及取向层制备工艺.利用该材料在塑料基板上完成了液晶取向,通过液晶盒暗态效果、透过率等参数评价了取向效果,并与传统摩擦取向进行对比,对其稳定性进行了评价.Light-weight and bendable Flexible-LCD has become a very attractive dinctlion for LCD development. However, as high temperature curing must be proceeded in traditional rubbed alignment technique, it's impossible to apply it to flexible plastic substrates. We developed a liquid crystal alignment technique which can be accomplished under room temperature. Synthesis of photo-alignment material and fabrication of photo-alignment layer were illustrated. The material was evaluated by measuring dark state performance and transmittance. And the stability was tested by comparing it with traditional rubbed alignment.
