摘　　要：尼扒是生活在傈僳族地区的一个特殊群体,由一些年纪较大的男性组成,他们平时用自己的巫术为人驱鬼治病,消灾解难,遇到有人过世就发送死者,节日期间上刀杆下火海,祈福纳祥。在长期田野调查及其结合相关国内外研究成果的基础上,文章描述了腾冲猴桥傈僳族尼扒的基本情况,包括他们的文化、社会功能、现状及其人们对尼扒和巫术的看法、态度等。Nipa is a special branch of the Lisu People, and most of them are senior male. They usually perform their treatment by witchcraft to dissolve the adversity. They send off the dead by climbing up the pole with many knives stuck on it, and step into the fire in order to pray for the happiness and fortune. Based on long-term field investigation and domestic document, the essay gives us a basic description of the Nipa people, including their culture with the social function, present situation as well as the attitude of other people to the Nipa＇s witchcraft.
