摘  要:采用硬脂酸/硬脂酸钙(SA/CaSt)作为复合改性剂,合成了改性纳米氢氧化镁(Mg(OH)2)阻燃剂。通过分析接触角与沉降速度,确定SA/CaSt质量比为1∶2时,改性效果最佳。采用FTIR、XRD、SEM、TG等对改性前后的Mg(OH)2进行表征分析,并将改性前后的Mg(OH)2应用于尼龙6,测试其阻燃性和力学性能。结果表明:SA/CaSt的复合改性有效阻止了有机长链的缠结,Mg(OH)2表面有机化更为完全,粒径更小,结晶更规整。当改性Mg(OH)2的添加量为45%时,复合体系的氧指数提高到27%,拉伸强度提高了约25 MPa,且复合改性后的Mg(OH)2与有机基材有很好的相容性。A nano magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) flame retardant was complex modified by stearic acid /calcium stearate(SA/CaSt). By analyzing contact angle and sedimentation velocity, it is confirmed that when the ratio of SA and CaSt is 1:2, the modification effect is optimum. The Mg(OH)2 before and af- ter modified was characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM and TG, then the flame retardancy and mechanical properties of the PA6 after addition of Mg(OH)2 were tested. The results show that the complex modifica- tion of SA/CaSt can effectively prevent the entanglement of long organic chain, the surface organizing of Mg(OH)2 is more complete, the particle size is smaller and the crystal is more regular. When the addi- tion amount of the modified Mg(OH)2 is 45%, the oxygen index of the complex system increases to 27%, the tensile strength increases by about 25 MPa, which illustrate that the compatibility between the modified Mg(OH)2 and matrix is good.
