摘　　要：简述了江苏省农业科学院科技查新业务的发展现状,以2008年—2012年完成的1 000多项查新课题为样本进行统计分析,总结了江苏省农业科学院科技查新室的业务特点及与农业科技创新活动的联系,并对查新工作的未来发展方向进行了展望。This paper made a brief review of sci-tech novelty retrieval in Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences（JAAS）, the characteristics of novelty retrieval and its relationship with agricultural science and technology innovation activ- ities were summarized based on statistics analysis of more than 1000 novelty items from 2008 to 2012 in JAAS, and the future direction of novelty retrieval was suggested.
