摘　　要：利用现有大比例尺数字化地形图缩编成所需比例尺的数字地形图,不仅可以节约成本,而且可以减少成图时间。为此,介绍了一种利用1∶500数字化地形图缩编1∶2 000地形图的方法。实践证明,该方法能以半自动化的方式缩编地形图,并能大大提高工作效率。Downsizing the existing large scale digital topographic map into a map required scale not only can save cost but also can reduce mapping time. Therefore, this paper indroduces a method of the topographic map generalization from 1 ： 500 scale to 1 ： 2 000 scale. The facts show that, this method can downsize the topographic map in a semi-automat- ic fashion, and can greatly improve the work efficiently.
