摘　　要：演讲人结合自己从事数学史的艰难起步,以及对刘徽割圆术的解读、《九章筭术注》与《详解九章算法》的结构、品评秦九韶等研究案例,强调了从原始文献出发进行研究的重要性。指出要尊重原始文献,分析、厘清原始文献的篇章结构,但是不能盲从,得具体分析,特别是应该放在当时社会背景下分析。The author emphasizes the importance of original literature-based research by recall- ing the difficulties in the early years of his mathematics history research and exemplifying cases such as LIU Hui＇s cyclotomy method, ＂Jiu- ematical Procedures）, ＂Xiang-Jie-Jiu Zhang-Suan-Shu-Zhu＂ （Comments on Nine Chapters on Math- -Zhang-Suan-Fa＂ （Detailed Annotation on Nine Chapters on Mathematical Procedures）, and ＂Pin-Ping-Qin-Jiu-Shao＂ （ Comments on Qin Jiushao）. He points out the necessity of respecting the original literature, and of analyzing and understanding its struc- ture, warns against conformism and promotes analysis in the context of specific situations, especially the current social background.
