李善兰和伟烈亚力合译《代数学》的主要内容研究

摘　　要：基于李善兰和伟烈亚力合译著作《代数学》原始文献内容的分析和讨论,为研究19世纪末西方数学传播史提供文献支持。译著传入的数学内容主要有方程理论、代数表示论、二项式定理、极限理论和级数理论。《代数学》首次引进了西方符号代数学内容体系,并使中国传统代数学的发展更具有科学性和系统性。It is to provide the literature support for researches on the Western mathematics communication history at the end of nineteenth century, based on the analysis and discussion on content of Daishu Xue tralslated by Li Shan- lan and Alexander. Analysis and comparison on the original books is done. The Daishu Xue mainly introduced the following contents, including equation theory, representation theory of algebras, the binomial theorem, limit theory and the theory of series. For the first time algebra introduced symbolic system of the western algebra, which promo- ted the scientific and systematic development of China＇s traditional algebra.
