摘　　要：International standards play a significant role in promoting global economy and trade, leading the development of strategic emerging industries, supporting industrial adjustment and upgrading as well as advancing technical innovation. After the reforming and opening-up, China has actively participated in international standardization activities and reaped notable benefits from that. To substantially participate in such activities is the essential requirement of China＇s sustainable economic and social development, and also the vital technical support to the upgrading of China economy and promotion of quality and benefits.
