后现代主义的终结与文学研究的伦理学转向——兼论后现代思潮退却的原因

摘　　要：自1990年代以来,无论是在实践层面还是理论层面上,被经典化和制度化的后现代主义均开始走向衰败。沉溺于彻底的虚无主义,对现实问题越来越丧失批判性关切,这是后现代主义终结的内在原因。理论大师的相继离世、伦理批评的日渐崛起、以及后9·11时代的特定社会氛围共同加速了后现代主义的终结过程。虽然后现代主义不再是主导文化范式,但其特有的创作手法和话语策略却被继承下来,它们在更具伦理关切的当代文学中发挥着重要作用。After being canonized and institutionalized, postmodernism has begun to recede since the 1990s. The intrinsic factors of Indulgence in a radical nihilism and increasingly becoming devoid of any critical concern about the real world are for its downfall, while the extrinsic factors such as the successive passing away of postmodern the- oretical masters, the uprise of ethical criticism, as well as the particular social context after the 9 ~ 11 terrorist at- tack, accelerate the receding of postmodernism. Although postmodernism has stopped being the dominating cultural paradigm, its particular artistic techniques and discursive strategy have been adopted and are playing an important role in contemporary novels that have more ethical concerns.
