摘　　要：作为20世纪英美文学史上重要的一位诗人及批评家,T.S.艾略特对17世纪的"玄学派诗歌"推崇备至,在其早期《普鲁弗洛克的情歌》中,诗人借用"玄学奇喻"的技巧赋予大量隐晦的隐喻和典故意象丰富的蕴意,展现了现代西方人的迷惘、困惑及挫败感。As one of the most important poets and critics of the 20th century in the history of British and American literature, T. S. Eliot had made greatest remarks on the Metaphysical Poetry of the 17th century. In his early poem ＂The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock＂ , Eliot revealed the loss, confusion and frustration of the modem western men by endowing rich implication to the metaphor and allusion images through the technique of metaphysical conceit.
