摘　　要：元数据联盟提出的开放信息模型是一个无数据描述集，为了便于应用程序的开发和数据仓库的共享和重用，采用ＵＭＬ作为基本的描述模型，使用ＸＭＬ作为元数据的交换标准。文章给出了从ＯＩＭ到ＸＭＬ映射的核心概念，包括类、属性、关联以及类的继承，并对每个描述ＯＩＭ概念的ＵＭＬ图，给出了相应的ＸＭＬ编码。The MDC OIM is a set of MetaData specifications to facilitate sharing and reuse in the application development and data warehouse domains. OIM is described in UML and adopts XML as the standard format for the interchange of metadata.This Paper provides a set of basic diagrams that show the mapping of the core concepts Class,Attribute,and Association as well as class inheritance from OIM into XML. Every UML diagram representing the OIM concepts is provided with the XML encoding.
