摘　　要：传统的计算机外设接口存在许多缺点，已经不能适应计算机的需要。新近推出的通用串行总线USB，由于具有速度快、使用方便灵活、易于扩展、支持即插即用、成本低廉等一系列优点，从而得到了广泛的应用。主要介绍了USB的一些基本特点。Traditional interfaces of external peripherals have many shortcomings，so they are not consistent with the requirements of the PC now. The newly-come Universal Serial Bus has many advantages, such as: high speed, ease-of-use, ease to expand port, supporting plug-play, low-cost etc, so it is used very widely now. This paper just describes some main features of USB.
