The Effect of Daytime Nap on the Learning Efficiency of Post Meridiem in Undergraduate Students

摘  要:为研究午睡对大学生午后学习效率的影响,选择26名在校大学生进行自身前后对照研究。结合正常教学工作,安排两次实验教学,每次4节实验课。第一次为不午睡,稍作休息后上课。两周后,进行第二次午睡后实验教学。在每次课程结束前,临时通知学生进行图片结构辨认测试,并安排5min时间专业英语词汇记忆测试。结果显示午睡后的图片结构辨认成绩明显好于未午睡时(P=0.01),午睡后的专业英语词汇记忆成绩与未午睡时无明显差异(P>0.05)。说明午睡能够对午后的学习效率产生影响,但是对于任务简单、时间较短的学习无明显影响。To study the influence of daytime nap on the learning efficiency of post meridiem in undergraduate students, 26 students were chosen for the study. Combining daily teaching work and twice experiment teaching activities were organized. In the first experiment, the students have been no daytime nap before class. Two weeks later, we have been held second experiment, in which students have been no daytime nap before class. In every experiment, the students have been informed to have pictorial test and 5 minutes quick specialty English words memory test before the class was over. The result of pictorial test of daytime nap was better than that of no daytime nap (P=0. 01),but no significant difference was observed on the specialty English word memory tests (P〉0. 05) between the twice experiments. The daytime naps have effects on the learning efficiency of post meridiem, but have no effects on the simple and short time study task.
