Listed Companies' Website Based Investor Relations: A Sino-foreign Comparative Study

摘　　要：本文建立了衡量不同国家地区上市公司网络投资者关系水平的指标体系,比较了中国大陆、香港、美国、英国上市公司的网络投资者关系。结果显示中国大陆上市公司投资者关系水平的建设在过去几年取得了明显的进步,平均值差异t检验结果表明中国大陆与香港上市公司水平已基本相当,但是与美国和英国上市公司相比还有很大的差距。中国大陆和香港上市公司在网络投资者关系信息的实时性、便捷性、友好性、精确性和公平性等方面都有待提高。This paper establishes an index system to measure the levels of listed companies＇ website based investor relations （WIR） in different countries and regions, and compares listed companies＇ WIR in China's Mainland, Hong Kong, the U.S. and the U.K.. T-tests of the mean difference are used to measure the significance of difference. The results show that the IR levels of listed companies in Hong Kong and China's Mainland are very close, but are much lower than the U.S. and the U.K. Thus, listed companies＇ WIR in China's Mainland and Hong Kong should be improved in instantaneity, convenience, user-friendliness, accuracy and fairness.
