论湖北现存碑刻的历史文化价值

摘　　要：碑刻作为珍贵历史文献的载体正在加速消失。经过湖北现存近二千块碑刻搜集整理,发现其对于进一步揭示湖北历史文化价值具有重要意义。这不仅有助于重新认识湖北地方社会宗教传播、农林水利、生态环境与商业发展,而且可进一步深入研究以宗族自治为核心的地方治理以及明清大规模人口迁徙的历史。该碑刻为湖北文化研究提供了新的视野和史料,其价值弥足珍贵,具有重要的历史文化价值。The extant Hubei stone tablet inscriptions deserve research because they are the precious carriers of Hubei historical literature. Up to present, about 2000 pieces of Hubei stone tablet inscriptions have been collected and collated for further study of Hubei history and culture. This paper aims to re-evaluate the religious transmission in the local society and the development of agriculture, forestry, ecological environment as well as commerce in Hubei region. Moreover, this paper also tries to promote the intensive study on local governance belief which used to focus on patriarchy clan autonomy and the history of the large-scale migrations during the Ming-Qing Dynasties. These inscriptions prove to have significant historical and cultural values today,which are found to provide new historical materials and shed light on the regional research of Hubei.
