美国iSchools课程设置与能力培养的调查与分析

摘　　要：选取开设图书情报学相关学位的16所美国iSchool联盟院校,以与图书情报学相关的学位课程为对象,在划分课程类别的基础上,采用网站浏览与内容分析的方法,围绕课程设置体系结构、课程层次、课程培养的核心能力对其课程设置进行全面调查,总结出美国iSchools课程设置的特点:课程数量大且选修课数量多;课程覆盖范围广且课程体系完备;课程设置侧重点呈一定规律性但各校间略有不同;普遍重视信息组织、检索与服务类核心课程设置以及课程教学形式多样化。On the basis of dividing curricula into 12 classes, this paper used survey and content analysis method to investigate and analyze curricula of 16 iSchools in America, involving curriculum structure, course level, and the core competences cultivated by courses. Some characteristics of the curricula are concluded： 1. the number of courses is very large and electives are more than required courses. 2. The curricu- la have a wide coverage and complete system. 3. The emphases of curricula have certain regularity and are a little different between iSehools. 4. Basic courses cover information organization, retrieval and service. 5. The instructional mode is diverse.
