脆肉型甜瓜新品种‘海蜜5号’的选育

摘　　要：海蜜5号是海门市农业科学研究所以优良自交系H(Y9601-102-16)为母本、优良自交系I(Y9711-102-14)为父本选育的杂交一代脆肉型厚皮甜瓜新品种。该品种植株生长健壮,抗病性强;中早熟,全生育期约115 d,果实发育期约45 d。果皮深绿色,有网纹,果实椭圆形,果形指数为1.4;果肉色淡橙,果肉厚度4.0 cm,中心可溶性固形物含量14.5%左右,边部9.5%左右,肉质脆,口感好。不易脱蒂,耐贮运。坐果性好,一般单果质量1.9 kg,每667 m2产量约2 900 kg。适合我国大部分地区保护地栽培及西北干旱区露地栽培。＇ Haimi No. 5＇ is a new netted melon with crisp flesh developed by using male parent H（Y9601-102-16） and fe- male parent I （Y9711-102-14）. The plant is vigorous and healthy with good resistance. The total growing period is about 115 days and the fruit development period is about 45 days. The fruit is ellipse, shape index 1.4, with dark green skin. The flesh is light orange with thickness of 4.0 cm. The flesh central soluble solids content is 14.5% and 9.5% near skin. The average fruit weight is about 1.9 kg with good storage and shipping ability. The yield per 667 m2 is about 2 900 kg. It is suitable for greenhouse production and open field production in Northwest China.
