摘　　要：高体三教授认为,咳嗽实为太阴病之一,其症状在手太阴肺,病本在足太阴脾。以肝脾肾虚寒为本,木火刑金、湿热痰浊壅肺为标。治当温补脾肾,清疏养肝,宣肺化痰,止咳平喘。用药主张寒热兼施,标本兼顾,使寒药去其标热,热药去其本寒。Professor Gao Tisan believes that cough actually is one of Taiyin disease, and its symptoms lie in the lung of Hand-Taiyin, and the root of disease is spleen of Foot-Taiyin. Deficiency-cold of the liver, spleen and kidney as the root, and damp-heat, phlegm-turbidity obstructing lung as the symptoms. The principles of tonifying the spleen and kidney, soothing and nourishing the liver, ventilating the lung and resolving phlegm, relieving cough and asthma are used for treatment. Medication advocates together using as cold and heat, root and symptom, so as to remove the symptom of fever by cold medicines, and dispel the root of cold by hot medicines.
