摘　　要：我国外语院校图书馆文献借阅率持续降低的事实表明,图书馆的文献采选制度与读者的文献需求渐行渐远。美国高校图书馆普遍采用的读者决策采购模式为我国外语院校图书馆改进文献采选方式提供了重要参考。我国外语院校图书馆应以本馆的文献采选现状为依据,积极借鉴美国高校图书馆读者决策采购的有益做法,探索外语院校图书馆独有的、可操作性强的读者决策采购策略。The constant reducing of borrowing rates of literatures reflects the widening gap between the literature acquisition and selection system and literature needs of readers in libraries of foreign language colleges in China. The mode of Patron Driven Acquisitions（ PDA ]generally adopted by American university libraries provides a reference for improving the literature acquisition and selection form of libraries of foreign language colleges in China. Libraries of foreign language colleges in China should take present situation of the literature acquisition and selection as the basis, draw lessons from good practice of PDA mode in America, and explore their unique and practical strategies of PDA.
