摘　　要：硬盘镜像是将CD-ROM光盘按ISO 9660的光盘格式压缩或不压缩地“镜像”到硬盘中的一种新技术,硬盘镜像完整地保留了CD光盘的属性,并且具有防病毒侵袭和数据被改写的功能。目前硬盘镜像系统正以存储容量大,支持大规模光盘在线共享、读取速度快、性价比高的特点逐步取代传统的光盘塔和光盘库,成为光盘网络应用中的新方向。Hard disk imaging is a new technology that CDs are cached to hard drives automatically in ISO 9660 Format. It retains all properties of CDs, and has function of anti virus and anti modification of data. Hard disk imaging system is replacing the CD-tower and Jukebox with the advantage of great storage capacity, high access speed, holding a large scale of CDs online and high performance/price ratio, and becoming the new direction in CD - ROM network application.
